Education
For all cooking classes/-events the school’s teaching material/recipes that are provided may be taken home. The copyright belongs to AAC and the teaching material/recipes or the likes may not be published in any form by anyone without prior written consent from AAC.
We kindly ask that the participants for our classes meet up precisely, as we have no waiting area. We strive to make the experience as unified and positive as possible and therefore need to be ready before opening the door. It may happen that the door is closed right up to the agreed starting time.
Rules for participation
AAC is equipped with exclusive furniture and equipment as well as exclusive knives, utensils and appliances. We therefore ask the participants to show common consideration and respect for the school’s equipment. Serious negligence of the school’s equipment or fixtures will be a liability.
Participants must work actively in a kitchen and carry out a relatively long learning/education process. We therefore ask that you wear practical and closed shoes as well as practical clothing. The school does not cover the cost of washing / cleaning clothes as well as damaged or ruined clothing and footwear are not replaced. Participants in our classes/events participate voluntarily and at their own risk.
For safety reasons, drunk/affected persons are not taught. The school reserves the right at any time to discontinue teaching for one or more participants, if deemed to be intoxicated or affected. Should this occur, the person(s) in question is not eligible for reimbursement of the participant payment.
Cancellation of classes/events
Classes / events can be canceled free of charge 2 months before the agreed event date by the company or the private organizer. If canceled later and up to 4 weeks before the event date, 50% of the total event price is charged. For cancellations from 4 weeks up to 3 weeks before the event date, 75% of the total event price is charged. For cancellations from 3 weeks up to 2 weeks or later 100% of the total event price is calculated.
If a booked event is canceled before the menu and program have been finalized, the cancellation fee is calculated as a minimum of our lowest menu price per person.
An event is considered booked if a confirmatory email or other written documentation (e.g. a Letter of Confirmation) has been sent.
The school reserves the right to cancel booked classes/events due to illness or other weighty urgency.
If a class/event must be canceled, the responsible organizer will be contacted in writing and/or by telephone in order to set a new date for the class/ event. The school or its management cannot be held responsible for any of the organizers costs as a direct or indirect result of the cancellation.
All of the above conditions also applies when renting the schools premises.
Change in number of participants
Changes in the number of participants can be made downwards up to 14 days before the event date. After that, the number is binding. Changes in the number upwards can be made up to 2 days before the event date.
Cancellation rights
When your registration for an open course or other type of open event is confirmed, it cannot be exchanged or refunded. You can choose to dispose your registration to someone else.
Although registration may have been made online, where there is usually a 14-day right of withdrawal, we note that there are certain exceptions in the Consumer Agreement Act. This applies, for example for, recreational leisure activities, where one is registered for a specific date and time. AAC’s courses and other events belong to this category and therefore the registration fee is not refunded – even if you are prevented due to illness or other causes (the same goes for theater and cinema tickets, for example).
No right of withdrawal applies to closed private events, companies, organizations and the like, as they are automatically subject to the above conditions under: ‘Cancellation of classes and events’.
Reservations
AAC and kromans.dk make reservations for typos and / or typos on the website, in the teaching material and other material. We also make reservations for any misleading photo material and the like as well as reservations for changes in menus and class descriptions that may be made without prior notice or information to the participants prior to the class starts. Finally, we make reservations for sold-out classes and events – including technical or administrative errors in handling the school’s website.
